Net Zero Strategy 2021Net Zero Strategy: Build Back Greener

The anticipated UK Net Zero strategy that was published today sets out policies and proposals for decarbonising all sectors to meet the UK net zero target by 2050. Building on the 10 Point Plan, the strategy document aspires to keep the country on track for  carbon budgets, 2030 Nationally Determined Contribution, and net zero by 2050.

The strategy includes:

  • UK decarbonisation pathways to net zero by 2050
  • Policies and proposals to reduce emissions for each sector
  • Cross-cutting action to support the transition
