Description
USING ENERGY AUDITS TO DEVELOP ENERGY AND CARBON MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES – 10 April 2025, 14:00-15:00, EMA Live Virtual Event
Effective energy audits can identify and produce major savings in energy use and cost but they can also be a resourceful exercise to gather useful information to develop a bespoke strategy leading to a longer-term reduction in the energy consumption and carbon footprint. In this workshop, we will explore how energy audits and data reviews serve as the foundation for creating an effective energy and carbon strategy. We will examine what the strategies could look like depending on their desired outcome and how frequently to review them to stay on track. Furthermore, participants will gain insight into the available tools and requirements which can be accessed as the first step of covering the basics, quantifying the performance, and identifying and setting your energy and carbon reduction objectives and targets.
The workshop will be delivered by Kiro Tamer, former Head of Environmental Sustainability at Keltbray and Director of KEES Services with over 10 years of experience in energy and carbon management. Kiro is a qualified ESOS Lead Assessor, Chartered Environmentalist and ISO 50001 Energy Management Lead Auditor.
The workshop will offer an opportunity to ask questions.
