Energy and Carbon Reduction Awareness for Non-Energy Management Professionals
The course aims to give participants an introduction to basic actions to champion energy reduction and address Climate Change within their organisation. This course represents energy and carbon reduction awareness for non-energy management personnel and relates to controlling and saving energy and carbon emissions in private and public sector organisations.
The course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to:
- Understand reasons for managing energy
- Understand energy and its use
- Understand carbon emissions and the need for their reduction
- Consider practical options for reducing energy and carbon emissions
- Encourage others to reduce energy and carbon emissions
Format: Live virtual tutor-led course followed by a multiple-choice question-and-answer assessment
Certification: Participants who complete and pass the assessment will receive a certificate including 3 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) recognition. In addition, all participants will be eligible for the entry-level EMA membership at an Affiliate level (with the waived administration fee for the initial 12 months).
