LEARN AND EARN CPD – BALANCING ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND COMFORT IN BUILDINGS WORKSHOP (20 March, 14:00-15:00)

We would like to invite you to the upcoming EMA workshop on Balancing Energy Management and Comfort.

This workshop will examine the delicate balance between energy management and ensuring the comfort of building occupants, with a focus on optimising energy use while achieving sustainability goals, such as those set by Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks.

Energy management is often associated with reducing consumption and improving operational efficiency. However, this must be balanced against the primary goal of creating a comfortable environment for building users. The presentation will delve into what comfort is, what needs to be comfortable, and the factors that influence comfort, such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and how these can sometimes conflict with energy-saving strategies.

The workshop will offer an opportunity to ask questions.

The EMA virtual workshops cover a wide range of important and practical topics essential for professionals working and interested in energy and carbon management. From organisational energy and carbon management strategies to industry trends, the workshops provide attendees with valuable insights that can enhance their knowledge and skills.
