Forthcoming opportunities on NI Authority for Utility Regulation Board
The Department of Finance will soon be seeking candidates for Board member positions for the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (NIAUR, also known as the Utility Regulator).
The NIAUR is the non-ministerial government department responsible for regulating the electricity and gas industries and water and sewerage services in Northern Ireland, to protect the interests of consumers.
Ensuring that Northern Ireland’s consumers benefit from quality and value for money energy and water and sewerage services are key objectives of the NIAUR. The Board of the NIAUR plays a critical role in meeting these objectives.
As females and those with disabilities are under-represented on the Board, applications from these sections of the community would be particularly welcome.
These positions will be advertised later this month, so keep an eye on the Public Appointment Vacancies section of the nidirect website, or register your interest by contacting [email protected].
