The Environment Agency (EA) has published data on the submitted Phase 2 compliance notifications. 5594 organisations submitted their notifications by the 5th December 2019 deadline. By 24 January 2020 the EA received 5863 notifications in total.
The data shows that 132 organisations which submitted their ESOS compliance notifications used an internal ESOS Lead Assessor, 5300 organisations used external Lead Assessor, 268 had no lead assessor because their ESOS notification is covered by ISO 50001 or has no energy supplies associated with it and 163 have not stated whether their ESOS Lead Assessor was external or internal.
Out of all organisations which notified the EA about their compliance, 554 used the EMA registered ESOS Lead Assessor.
