Mark is a qualified controls specialist and has spent 20 years working within energy management. He was previously the energy manager for Welsh Water and United Utilities, responsible for all aspects of energy procurement, metering, energy efficiency and renewable generation on over 3,500 sites.

He has run his own consultancy for the last 9 years working for both public and private companies and across a range of sectors, offering procurement advice, sustainably reducing energy consumption and identifying and delivering renewable generation opportunities.

Mark is also a specialist in the optimisation of BMS.

He is a Fellow of the EMA, a qualified ESOS lead assessor and a non-domestic energy assessor. Mark teaches a number of courses for the EMA including Energy Procurement, HVAC optimisation, Water Management, Generation, Lighting and Battery Storage.
