Jeremy Gould

National Sustainability Manager at GLL

Jeremy has been working in the Leisure Industry for nearly 25 years following the completion of a BSc (Hons) Sports Science degree, initially in an operational capacity in various roles from Fitness Instructor to General Manager.  In 2007, Jeremy took on the role of Energy & Environment Manager for GLL with responsibility for energy management, monitoring and reporting, environmental compliance, staff training and utility procurement. He also successfully completed a Diploma in Environmental Management.

In his current role as National Sustainability Manager, Jeremy is responsible for driving GLL's energy, carbon and sustainability strategies for its 350+ Leisure Centres, Libraries and Children's Centres. This includes supporting the delivery of energy reduction and renewable energy projects, leading on GLL's environmental reporting and compliance obligations, working with partners to achieve joint decarbonisation goals through PSDS funding and analysis of real time and historical energy data.
