ACHIEVING DECARBONISATION IN THE NHS
9 March 2021, 11:00-12:00, Virtual Event
The NHS is responsible for around 4% of the UK’s carbon emissions and is the key sector in the journey to achieve the nation-wide net zero targets. Our next workshop will define what decarbonisation means for North Bristol NHS Trust and Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Matthew Gitsham, Carbon and Energy Manager at North Bristol NHS Trust will focus on energy and carbon from buildings and explains their plans and actions to meet the targets.
Paul Graham, Utilities, Waste and Sustainability Manager at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will focus on the Trust’s energy and sustainability journey so far, what they have learned from it and how they hope to progress.
We hope that you can join us on the 9th.
