Energy & Fuels Regional Negotiator - UK - CEMEX

Cemex has a vacancy in the UK for a Regional Negotiator covering Energy and Fuels. Ideally the successful candidate would have a good understanding of energy markets, supply and compliance schemes whilst also get involved in the ongoing program of decarbonisation projects and investments.
Responsibilities
- Procure and manage the supply of electricity, gas, primary and alternative fuels for the UK operations.
- Support our operations with energy literacy and energy markets insights to influence decision-making to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs and help with the transition to a low carbon economy.
- Develop on-going and innovative supply options and projects for electricity, gas, primary and alternative fuels for the UK, working in conjunction with the Regional European team to share best practices and meet our Sustainability targets.
- Support the Head of Energy in EMEA for Regional Projects, Reports and Data Analysis.
Skills Required
Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in the purchasing and management of energy for electro-intensive companies (Electricity & Gas). Good knowledge of data analysis and MS office. Recommendable knowledge about Coal and Alternative Fuels.
