This workshop will provide valuable insights and strategies for sustainable energy management practices within a manufacturing organisation. Chris Cole, Energy Manager at Forterra, will explain what energy management means to Forterra and outlines how the business have utilised the provisions of the ISO 50001 system to enhance energy use control at the site level and to bolster local initiatives.

Participants will gain an understanding of how ISO 50001 can lead to improvements in energy performance, including enhanced energy efficiency and reduction of consumption over time. Additionally, it will demonstrate how these efforts have resulted in a reduction of environmental impact. Attendees can expect to hear real-life examples from Forterra’s operations, illustrating the practical measures taken to enhance energy performance and decrease GHG emissions.

The workshop will offer an opportunity to ask questions.
