EMA Net Zero Fundamentals and Strategies course, 14 June 2024, 9:30-13:00 (BST), Zoom
In an ideal world we should all be adopting an absolute zero carbon approach where we produce no emissions from any of our activities. However, for the foreseeable future, for most organisations this would be extremely difficult or impossible to achieve and the only path at present is to aim for Net Zero emissions.
If you and/or a member of your team are looking to understand what Net Zero can mean for your organisation or a client, how different interpretations can be applied and what the possible routes to achieving Net Zero could be, we recommend attending the upcoming EMA Net Zero Fundamentals and Strategies course.
The course will help you to:
- Understand what Net Zero can mean for your organisation / client
- Understand greenhouse gas and emission scopes 1, 2 & 3 with examples
- Measure and calculate carbon footprint, incl. data sources and collection
- Create baselines and targets
- Set a Net Zero strategy
- Understand what offsetting is
- Understand formal and informal reporting, and monitoring and reporting on progress.
