THE BASICS OF ELECTRICITY – 23 February 2022, 11:00-12:00, EMA Live Virtual Event
The EMA workshop on 23 February will go back to basics of what electricity is and how it gets from generation to use. The session’s focus will be on the time of day charges, day, night, Distribution Use of System (DUoS) and Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) which are changing this year, to allow those with no power engineering background to understand and appreciate the grid system.
The workshop will be delivered by Eugene Bryce, BEng(hons) CEng MIET MAPM MEI. Eugene is an established energy and carbon engineer with over twenty years of experience in the energy utilities sector, particularly electrical transmission and distribution.
